Rec is a whole differn't monster. Y don't need the high tech, fastest marker to compete. You just need a love of the game and a ability to have fun. I've played for 12 years, I've played everything, tournie, rec, big, outlaw, and my favorite, scenario.I think that tournie style does NOT belong in rec. There is no reason to bunker some poor first time player in a rec game.I mean, would you like to be hit with 6000 balls on your FIRST game? Um......NO! That level of compotition is fine in a national tournie, especially if there are great prizes or moolah on the line, but there's no room for it in rec or scenario. You only need a big heart. All in all, I like scenario the best, Now that's just personal opinion,I'm not saying one is better than the other. There is room for all varieties here, let's let them all flourish.Play hard, play fast, play safe!

At one scenario game, we layed in wait on perimiter duty for 4 hours.Me and my teamate single handedly took our base back. At one point a large patrol was coming our way.We were outnumbered so we remained quiet. We were laying on the ground,I was by a fallen log. One of the patrollers stepped on me and said"What colo are you?" Luckily I was the same color as him.PHEW!
